Games you can host

Every game SLASHPLAY hosts, with its versions, the size it is built for, what it costs per hour, and what its Game-specific tab adds.

This section covers what is different about each game. Everything that works the same for every game (deploying, sizes, saves, schedules, the console, the file manager, joining and inviting) lives in Servers, so read that once and it applies everywhere. The pages here only cover what a single game adds on top.

Every game at a glance

One token is one cent, so 3 tokens an hour is $0.03 an hour. See How tokens work.

Versions is what you pick in the Version field of the deploy window. Only Minecraft has more than one today, so for every other game that field is hidden.

Built for is the size the game’s price is based on. The price on the game’s card in the Deploy tab is the price at that size.

What each size costs, per game

The deploy window always starts on SMALL, whatever the game. Prices scale from each game’s own base rate, so the same size can cost a different amount in two games:

GameSMALL (1 CPU · 2 GB)MEDIUM (2 · 4 GB)LARGE (4 · 8 GB)XLARGE (8 · 16 GB)
CS2, CS:Source, Minecraft, TF2, Garry’s Mod361224
Counter-Strike 1.65102041
Valheim351020
Palworld351020

All prices are tokens per hour. The deploy window shows the exact price next to each size before you click anything.

General vs game-specific

Every server page has the same tabs: General, Saves, Schedule, Monitor, History, Console and Advanced. Those are documented once, in Servers, and they work the same for every game.

Some games get extra tabs:

  • Game-specific appears only when a game has its own controls. CS2 has the most (one-click match controls, a map gallery with Steam Workshop support, an admission queue and in-game !rcon). Counter-Strike: Source gets match controls, mode presets and curated plugins. Minecraft gets a whitelist manager.
  • Mods appears only for Counter-Strike: Source, where you can install SourceMod plugins from your team’s library.

If a game has no Game-specific tab, you still have the full console, the file manager and a terminal inside the server, so you can configure it the way you would any dedicated server.

Rust is paused

Rust is paused for now and can’t be deployed. If its card shows up in the Deploy tab, it says Not available.
