Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
By using SLASHPLAY ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Service Description
SLASHPLAY provides on-demand game server hosting, including file access to your servers and the ability to publicly share files from a server's public folder via slashplaycontent.com. Servers are provided as-is with no guarantee of uptime or availability.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, to abuse server resources, or to disrupt other users' experience. In addition, you agree not to:
- Upload, store, or share content that is illegal under Danish or EU law, including without limitation child sexual abuse material, content depicting serious violence against real people, or terrorist content. We have zero tolerance here: such content is removed immediately and reported to law enforcement together with the full identity of the account that uploaded it.
- Upload or share content you do not have the rights to distribute (pirated games, movies, music, software, or other copyrighted works).
- Distribute malware or other harmful software. Published files are automatically scanned and removed on detection.
- Use the Service primarily as a file storage, backup, or content distribution platform. File features exist to support your game servers (mods, configs, match reports, and replays), not as general-purpose hosting.
- Attempt to circumvent resource, storage, or bandwidth limits, or the restrictions on publishable file types.
3. Your Content and Responsibility
Files you upload to your servers, and in particular files you place in a server's public folder, are your content and your responsibility. By publishing a file you confirm that you have the right to distribute it and that it is lawful. Anyone with a public link can download the file; you are responsible for what you choose to make available this way.
You agree to compensate SLASHPLAY for damages, claims, and reasonable costs that arise from content you upload or share in breach of these terms.
4. Content Moderation, Removal, and Reporting Abuse
We act as a hosting provider under the EU Digital Services Act: we do not generally monitor private server files, and we remove or disable access to illegal content promptly once we become aware of it. We may voluntarily scan publicly shared files (for example for malware and known illegal imagery), restrict which file types can be published, and apply storage and bandwidth limits.
We may remove content, disable public links, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice where the violation is serious. We cooperate with law enforcement and comply with valid legal orders.
To report illegal or infringing content hosted through the Service (including any slashplaycontent.com link), email [email protected] with the link and a short description. We review and act on reports promptly.
5. Account
You are responsible for your account and any activity under it. We authenticate via Discord and store minimal user data.
6. Data
Game server data (saves, configs, and files in folders you have taken ownership of) may be deleted after periods of inactivity. Deleting a file from a public folder, or the underlying server, also removes the published copy. We are not responsible for data loss.
7. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
