How to change round time on aim maps in CS2
Type mp_roundtime 60 in the server console for hour-long rounds on maps without bomb sites or hostages, such as aim and workshop maps.
mp_roundtime
Sets how many minutes each round lasts on maps without a bomb or hostage objective.
mp_roundtime <minutes> Examples
mp_roundtime 60 Hour long rounds for practice or surf servers.
mp_roundtime 1.92 1:55 rounds, the competitive length.
mp_roundtime 5 Five minute rounds for casual custom maps.
Arguments
minutesRequired- Round length in minutes. Decimals are allowed.
What it does
This is the general round timer. On bomb defusal maps the game uses mp_roundtime_defuse instead, and on hostage maps mp_roundtime_hostage, so changing only mp_roundtime often seems to do nothing on de_ maps. Set those two to 0 if you want mp_roundtime to apply everywhere. Decimal values work: 1.92 is 1 minute 55 seconds.
The game's own description: How many minutes each round takes.
Good to know
- Competitive mode sets it to 1.92 (1:55).
- Takes effect from the next round. Use
mp_restartgame 1to apply it right away.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
