How to change round time in CS2
Type mp_roundtime_defuse 60 in the server console for hour-long rounds on bomb maps like Mirage; 1.92 is the usual 1:55.
mp_roundtime_defuse
Sets how many minutes each round lasts on bomb defusal maps such as Dust II or Mirage.
mp_roundtime_defuse <minutes> Examples
mp_roundtime_defuse 60 Long rounds for practicing smokes on bomb maps.
mp_roundtime_defuse 1.92 Standard 1:55 competitive rounds.
Arguments
minutesRequired- Round length in minutes on bomb maps.
0means usemp_roundtime.
What it does
This overrides mp_roundtime on every map with bomb sites, which is most of the competitive pool. It is the setting to change when you want longer rounds on de_ maps for practice. If you set it to 0, the game falls back to mp_roundtime.
The game's own description: How many minutes each round of Bomb Defuse takes. If 0 then use mp_roundtime instead.
Good to know
- Competitive mode sets it to 1.92 (1:55).
- The bomb timer
mp_c4timerruns separately once the bomb is planted.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to game/csgo/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS2 server first.
