How to set the public IP of a Palworld server

Set PublicIP="203.0.113.10" to your server's external IP in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server. It is the address shown in the community server list.

PublicIP

Sets the external public IP address the server advertises in the community server list.

PublicIP="<ip>"

Examples

PublicIP="203.0.113.10"

Advertise this address.

Arguments

ipRequired
Your server's public IPv4 address.

What it does

Only matters for community servers listed publicly. Set it when the server cannot detect its own public address correctly, for example behind NAT, so players in the list connect to the right IP.

The game's own description: (Community server) Explicitly specify the external public IP.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.

Run it on your server

Admin commands are typed in game chat after /AdminPassword, or from the console on the server page. Settings go in world settings and apply at the next start. New to this? Start a Palworld server first.
