How to change the autosave interval in Palworld

Set AutoSaveSpan=120.000000 in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server to autosave the world every 120 seconds instead of the default 30.

AutoSaveSpan

Sets how often the server autosaves the world, in seconds.

AutoSaveSpan=<seconds>

Examples

AutoSaveSpan=30.000000

Save every 30 seconds.

AutoSaveSpan=120.000000

Save every two minutes.

Arguments

secondsRequired
Seconds between autosaves.

What it does

Lower values save more often and lose less progress on a crash, at the cost of more disk activity. Use /Save for an immediate save.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.

Run it on your server

Admin commands are typed in game chat after /AdminPassword, or from the console on the server page. Settings go in world settings and apply at the next start. New to this? Start a Palworld server first.
