How to stop TNT exploding in Minecraft

Run /gamerule tnt_explodes false and lit TNT no longer explodes.

Controls whether TNT explodes when lit.

/gamerule tnt_explodes <true|false>

Arguments

true|falseOptional
true turns the rule on, false turns it off. Leave it out to show the current value.

What it does

Set it to false so primed TNT does not explode. Common on survival servers that want to prevent TNT griefing without banning the item.
