How to disable mob spawners in Minecraft

Run /gamerule spawner_blocks_work false and monster spawner blocks stop spawning mobs.

Arguments

true|falseOptional: true turns the rule on, false turns it off. Leave it out to show the current value.

What it does

Set it to false to switch off every mob spawner in the world, for example to stop spawner farms from lagging the server.
