How to turn off spawn protection in Minecraft

Set spawn-protection=0 in server.properties and restart the server. Everyone can then build and break blocks near world spawn, not only ops.

Sets the radius around world spawn where only operators can build or break blocks.

Arguments

valueRequired: The value to write after the equals sign.

What it does

Protects the spawn area from griefing. Set it to 0 to turn spawn protection off. It does nothing while there are no operators on the server.

Changes take effect after a server restart.
