How to allow flight on a Minecraft server
Set allow-flight=true in server.properties and restart the server. Players stop getting kicked for flying, but it does not give anyone the ability to fly.
allow-flight
Controls whether players flying in survival mode get kicked by the anti-fly check.
allow-flight=<value> Examples
allow-flight=true Stop players being kicked for flying.
Values
| Value | What it does |
|---|---|
| true | On |
| falseDefault | Off |
Arguments
valueRequired- The value to write after the equals sign.
What it does
With false, players who stay in the air too long in survival are kicked with "Flying is not enabled on this server". Set it to true when you use mods or plugins that grant flight, or players with lag get kicked by mistake. It does not give anyone the ability to fly.
Good to know
- Changes take effect after a server restart.
- Creative and spectator flight is not affected.
