How to make everyone spawn in one spot in Minecraft

Run /gamerule respawn_radius 0 and new or bedless players appear on exactly the world spawn block instead of a random spot nearby.

respawn_radius

Sets how many blocks from the world spawn point players without a bed can respawn.

/gamerule respawn_radius <value>

Examples

/gamerule respawn_radius 0

Spawn exactly on the world spawn point.

/setworldspawn 0 64 0

Set where that spawn point is.

Arguments

valueOptional
Whole number to set. Leave it out to show the current value.

What it does

Players who join for the first time or die without a bed or respawn anchor appear at a random spot within this radius of world spawn. Set it to 0 so everyone lands on exactly the same block, which is what lobbies and spawn hubs want.

Good to know

  • Renamed from spawnRadius.
