How to turn off the death screen in Minecraft

Run /gamerule immediate_respawn true and players respawn right away when they die, with no death screen.

true turns the rule on, false turns it off. Leave it out to show the current value.

What it does

When true, players skip the "You Died" screen and respawn instantly. Popular on minigame and PvP servers where the death screen only slows things down.
