How to enforce the whitelist in Minecraft

Set enforce-whitelist=true in server.properties and restart the server. Players not on the whitelist are kicked when it is reloaded or turned on.

Controls whether players not on the whitelist are kicked when the whitelist is reloaded or turned on.

What it does

With true, online players who are not on the whitelist are kicked as soon as the whitelist is enabled or reloaded. Without it, they stay until they disconnect.

Good to know

  • Changes take effect after a server restart.
