How to change map time limit in CS:S
Type mp_timelimit 30 in the server console and the map changes after 30 minutes. 0 removes the time limit.
mp_timelimit
Sets how many minutes a map is played before the server changes to the next map.
mp_timelimit <minutes> Examples
mp_timelimit 30 Change map every 30 minutes.
mp_timelimit 0 Disable the time limit.
Arguments
minutesRequired- Map time in minutes.
0means no time limit.
What it does
When the time limit runs out, the current round is finished and the server moves on to the next map in the map cycle. Set 0 for no time limit and use mp_maxrounds or mp_winlimit instead.
The game's own description: game time per map in minutes
Good to know
- Use
timeleftto see how much time is left on the current map. - Set
mp_match_end_at_timelimit 1to end the map at once instead of waiting for the round to finish.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS:S server first.
