How to change the logs folder in CS 1.6
Type logsdir logs/match in the server console and new log files go to cstrike/logs/match. Logging must be on with log on.
logsdir
Folder, inside cstrike, where the server writes its log files.
logsdir <folder> Examples
logsdir logs The default folder.
logsdir logs/match Keep match logs in their own folder.
Arguments
folderRequired- Folder name relative to the cstrike folder.
What it does
Sets the directory for server logs, relative to the cstrike folder. Logs are only written while logging is on, which you turn on with log on. Change it if you want logs from different servers or setups kept apart.
Good to know
- Takes effect when the next log file is opened, usually at the next map.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
