How to save console output to a file in CS 1.6
Type condebug in the server console and everything printed there is copied to qconsole.log. Type it again to stop.
condebug
Toggles copying everything printed in the console to the qconsole.log file.
condebug Examples
condebug Start or stop writing console output to qconsole.log.
What it does
Turns console logging to a file on or off. While it is on, all console output is appended to qconsole.log, which helps when you need a record of errors or plugin output. For normal game logs use log on instead, which writes the structured logs in the logs folder.
Good to know
- The file keeps growing while it is on, so turn it off when you are done.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
