How to send logs to one address in CS 1.6
Type logaddress 203.0.113.10 27500 in the server console to stream the live log to that IP and port, replacing any earlier one. Needs log on.
logaddress
Sets one address to receive the server's logs over UDP, replacing any previous one.
logaddress <ip> <port> Examples
logaddress 203.0.113.10 27500 Send logs to one receiver.
Arguments
ipRequired- IP address of the receiver.
portRequired- UDP port the receiver listens on.
What it does
The older single address form of logaddress_add. It sends a live copy of the game log to the IP and port you give, which is how stats bots and log parsers receive events. Logging must be on with log on.
Good to know
- Use
logaddress_addif you need more than one receiver.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
