How to change max players on a Palworld server

Set ServerPlayerMaxNum=16 in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server to allow up to 16 players at once. The default is 32.

Sets the maximum number of players who can be on the server at once.

ServerPlayerMaxNum=<players>

Examples

ServerPlayerMaxNum=16

Mid-sized community server.

ServerPlayerMaxNum=32

Full server.

Arguments

playersRequired
Player slots.

What it does

Caps how many players can connect at the same time. More players means more CPU and memory use, so size it to your hardware.

The game's own description: Maximum number of players who can join the server.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.
