How to change the co-op player limit in Palworld

Set CoopPlayerMaxNum=4 in PalWorldSettings.ini for co-op worlds hosted from the game. Dedicated servers use ServerPlayerMaxNum instead.

CoopPlayerMaxNum

Sets the player limit for co-op worlds hosted from the game, not for dedicated servers.

CoopPlayerMaxNum=<players>

Examples

CoopPlayerMaxNum=4

Default co-op size.

Arguments

playersRequired
Players in a co-op session.

What it does

This limit applies to co-op sessions started from the game client. On a dedicated server the player limit is ServerPlayerMaxNum.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.

Run it on your server

Admin commands are typed in game chat after /AdminPassword, or from the console on the server page. Settings go in world settings and apply at the next start. New to this? Start a Palworld server first.
