How to use a custom ban list in Palworld

Set BanListURL="https://example.com/banlist.txt" to your own list's address in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server. The default is Pocketpair's official list.

BanListURL

Sets the URL of an online ban list the server checks, by default Pocketpair's official list.

BanListURL="<url>"

Examples

BanListURL="https://b.palworldgame.com/api/banlist.txt"

Official ban list.

Arguments

urlRequired
The ban list URL, in double quotes.

What it does

The server loads banned IDs from this URL in addition to your own bans. Leave it on the official list unless you run your own shared ban list.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.

Run it on your server

Admin commands are typed in game chat after /AdminPassword, or from the console on the server page. Settings go in world settings and apply at the next start. New to this? Start a Palworld server first.
