How to change the creative portal delay in Minecraft

Run /gamerule players_nether_portal_creative_delay 40 and creative players must stand in a nether portal for 40 ticks (2 seconds) to travel.

Sets how long, in ticks, a creative mode player must stand in a nether portal before teleporting.

/gamerule players_nether_portal_creative_delay <value>

Arguments

valueOptional
Whole number to set. Leave it out to show the current value.

What it does

Creative players normally teleport through portals instantly. Raise this to stop builders being sent to the Nether when they walk through a portal by accident. 20 ticks is one second.
