How to kick a player in Minecraft
Type kick Steve in the server console, or /kick Steve in chat as an operator. Add a reason after the name; they can rejoin right away.

/kick @a Server restarting Kicks everyone with a message.
kick Steve AFK From the server console, without the slash.
Arguments
targetsRequired- Player name or selector.
reasonOptional- Message shown to the kicked player.
What it does
Use it to remove someone temporarily; for a lasting block use ban or the whitelist. The reason is shown on the player's disconnect screen.
Good to know
- Needs operator permission level 3 (admin).
