How to hide online players on a Minecraft server

Set hide-online-players=true in server.properties and restart the server. The server list no longer shows the names of who is online.

Controls whether the list of online player names is hidden from the server list.

Arguments

What it does

When true, the player count is still shown but the names that appear when hovering over it are hidden.

Good to know

  • Changes take effect after a server restart.
