Values
| Value | What it does |
|---|---|
| -1 | No restrictions |
| 0 | Minimal checks |
| 1 | Use the whitelist file |
| 2 | Official files only |
Arguments
modeOptional- Purity level. Leave empty to show the current mode.
What it does
Without an argument it prints the current mode. -1 allows any files, 0 checks a minimal list, 1 enforces the whitelist in pure_server_whitelist.txt, and 2 forces every file to match the official game. It stops wallhack textures and custom sounds that give an advantage.
The game's own description: Show user data.
Good to know
- A new value takes effect on the next map load.
- Often set as a launch option:
+sv_pure 1.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS:S server first.
