sv_lan_rate

Data rate used for clients when the server runs in LAN mode.

sv_lan_rate <bytes>

Examples

sv_lan_rate 25000

Higher rate for a local network.

Arguments

bytesRequired
Rate in bytes per second.

What it does

This only matters with sv_lan 1. It sets how many bytes per second the server sends each LAN client. On an internet server the rate is governed by sv_maxrate and sv_minrate instead.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
