What it does
Players use net_graph to see their fps, ping, packet loss, choke and the in and out traffic between them and the server. It is a client setting, so each player turns it on in their own console. On a server it is useful for checking whether lag comes from loss or choke.
Good to know
- Constant choke usually means the rate settings are too low for the server's
sv_maxupdaterate.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
