How to change round time in CS 1.6
Type mp_roundtime 3 in the server console for 3 minute rounds from the next round. Fractions work, so 1.75 is 1 minute 45.
mp_roundtime
Length of each round in minutes, not counting freeze time.
mp_roundtime <minutes> Examples
mp_roundtime 1.75 1:45 rounds, a classic competitive value.
mp_roundtime 3 Longer rounds for casual play.
Arguments
minutesRequired- Round length, from 1 to 9.
What it does
When the round timer runs out without the objective being completed, the defending side wins: CTs on bomb maps, Terrorists on hostage maps. Fractions are allowed, so 1.75 is 1 minute 45 seconds. Takes effect from the next round.
Good to know
- The game keeps the value between 1 and 9.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
