Values
| Value | What it does |
|---|---|
| 0 | Off |
| 1Default | On |
Arguments
0|1Required- 1 enforces file consistency.
What it does
With 1, the server checks that clients have the same versions of certain files, mainly player models, and refuses players whose files were modified, for example models made bright for cheating. Set it to 0 only if you knowingly allow custom models.
Good to know
- The list of checked files is built when a map loads, so a change applies from the next map.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
