lservercfgfile

Config file executed when a listen server starts a map. Not used by dedicated servers.

lservercfgfile <filename>

Examples

lservercfgfile listenserver.cfg

The default.

Arguments

filenameRequired
Config file name relative to the cstrike folder.

What it does

A listen server, the kind started from the game menu, runs this file instead of server.cfg. Dedicated servers ignore it and use servercfgfile. You only need it if you host from the game client.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
