How to cap player update rate on a TF2 server

Type sv_maxupdaterate 66 in the server console to send each player at most 66 updates a second, one per tick.

sv_maxupdaterate

Sets the most world updates per second the server sends each player.

sv_maxupdaterate <updates>

What it does

Caps cl_updaterate. TF2 servers run at 66 ticks, so 66 is the usual maximum.
