How to cap player cmdrate on a TF2 server

Type sv_maxcmdrate 66 in the server console to cap cl_cmdrate at 66. It only applies when sv_mincmdrate is above 0.

sv_maxcmdrate

Sets the most command packets per second a player can send to the server.

sv_maxcmdrate <packets>

What it does

Caps cl_cmdrate. Only applies when sv_mincmdrate is above 0.

The game's own description: (If sv_mincmdrate is > 0), this sets the maximum value for cl_cmdrate.
