How to change the map in Rust
Add +server.level "Barren" to the server's launch options to load the Barren map. "Procedural Map" is the normal generated map.
server.level
Sets which map the server loads, such as Procedural Map, Barren or a custom map.
+server.level "<map>" Examples
+server.level "Procedural Map" Standard generated map.
+server.level "Barren" Load the Barren map.
Arguments
mapRequired- Map name, in quotes if it contains spaces.
What it does
"Procedural Map" generates a map from server.seed and server.worldsize. Other values load a prebuilt map. For custom maps hosted online, use server.levelurl instead.
The game's own description: Map level to load on startup, e.g. 'Procedural Map', 'Barren', or a custom map name

- Launch-line setting.
Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
