How to set the RCON IP on a Rust server

Add +rcon.ip 0.0.0.0 to the server's launch options so RCON listens on every network interface.

rcon.ip

Sets the IP address the RCON server listens on.

+rcon.ip <address>

Examples

+rcon.ip 0.0.0.0

Listen on all interfaces.

Arguments

addressRequired: Local IP address.

Leave it empty to listen on all interfaces, or set a specific address to restrict where RCON is reachable.

Run it on your server

Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
