How to become admin in Palworld

Type /AdminPassword MyAdminPass123 in chat, using the AdminPassword from PalWorldSettings.ini, and you get admin rights for that session.

AdminPassword

Logs you in as a server admin with the password set in PalWorldSettings.ini, which unlocks every other admin command.

/AdminPassword <password>

Arguments

passwordRequired: The value of AdminPassword in PalWorldSettings.ini.

What it does

Type /AdminPassword followed by the password in the in-game chat to get admin rights for your session. The password itself is the AdminPassword value inside OptionSettings in PalWorldSettings.ini; if it is empty, no one can become admin. The same password is used to log in over RCON and the REST API.

Good to know

Admin rights last until you leave the server; type it again after reconnecting.
Changing the password in the ini file needs a server restart.
