Runs, creates and manages GameTest structures, the automated test framework for data packs and mods.

/test <run|runclosest|runthese|runthat|runfailed|runmultiple|create|locate|clearall|stop|...> ...

Examples

/test runclosest

Runs the nearest test structure.

/test run mypack:my_test

Runs a test by ID.

/test clearall

Removes test structures.

Arguments

testsOptional
Test ID or selector, for run and locate.

What it does

Developers use it to place test structures, run them and see which pass or fail. run, runclosest, runthese and runfailed start tests, create makes a new test structure, and clearall removes test structures. Regular servers rarely need it.

Good to know

  • Needs operator permission level 2.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab without the leading slash; in game, operators type it in chat with the slash. New to this? Start a Minecraft server first.
