Shows the world seed in chat, where you can click it to copy.
/seed Examples
/seed Prints the seed of the current world.
seed From the server console, without the slash.
What it does
The seed decides terrain, biomes and structure placement, so players use it with seed map tools. On a server it needs operator level 2, which stops regular players from looking it up to find structures.
Good to know
- Needs operator permission level 2.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab without the leading slash; in game, operators type it in chat with the slash. New to this? Start a Minecraft server first.
