How to add screen effects in Minecraft
Type /posteffect add @a minecraft:creeper in chat as an operator to give everyone the creeper screen effect. /posteffect clear @a removes it.

Arguments
targetsRequired- Players to change.
posteffectOptional- Post effect ID, for
addandremove.
What it does
add applies a post effect by ID to the players, remove takes one off, clear removes all of them and list shows what a player has. Post effects come from the game and resource packs and change how the whole screen is rendered.
Good to know
- Needs operator permission level 2.
