Arguments

add|set|queryRequired
Change, overwrite or read the experience.
targetsRequired
Player name or selector. query takes a single player.
amountOptional
Number of points or levels. Not used with query.
levels|pointsOptional
Unit to use. Defaults to points.

What it does

add and set change experience by points (the default) or by levels; a negative number with add removes experience. query shows how many points or levels a player has, which you can store in a score with execute store. set ... points cannot go past the amount needed for the player's current level, so set levels first.

Good to know

  • Needs operator permission level 2.
  • xp is an alias and works the same way.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab without the leading slash; in game, operators type it in chat with the slash. New to this? Start a Minecraft server first.
