1 turns it on, 0 turns it off.

What it does

When teams get uneven, the game moves players from the larger team to the smaller one at the start of a round. Turn it off for scrims and matches where teams are fixed.

The game's own description: Automatically balance the teams based on mp_teams_unbalance_limit. 0 = off, 1 = forcibly switch, 2 = ask volunteers

Good to know

  • Works together with mp_limitteams, which stops players from joining the bigger team.

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS:S server first.
