How to stop a CS 1.6 server
Type exit in the server console and the server stops at once, disconnecting every player. It does the same as quit.
exit
Shuts the server down. Same as quit.

What it does
Stops the server process immediately and disconnects every player. Use changelevel or restart if you only want to reload the map.
Good to know
- Whether the server starts again depends on how it is hosted.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to cstrike/server.cfg. New to this? Start a CS 1.6 server first.
