How to change the name of a Valheim server

Add -name "SLASHPLAY Vikings" to the server's launch options, and that name shows in the in-game server list.

-name

Sets the server name shown in the in-game server list.

-name <name>

-name "SLASHPLAY Vikings"

Name with a space, so it is quoted.

nameRequired: The server name.

What it does

Pick a name players can find in the community list. Put it in double quotes if it contains spaces.

Good to know

Add it to the server start line in start_server.sh (Linux) or start_headless_server.bat (Windows); it applies on the next server start.
