How to set the win limit in TF2

Type mp_winlimit 5 in the server console to change map once a team wins 5 rounds. 0 means no win limit.

mp_winlimit

Sets how many round wins a team needs before the server changes map. 0 means no win limit.

mp_winlimit <wins>

Examples

mp_winlimit 5

First team to five round wins takes the map.

mp_winlimit 0

No win limit.

Arguments

winsRequired
Round wins needed to end the map. 0 disables the limit.

What it does

Once either team reaches this many round wins, the map ends. Competitive 5CP and KOTH configs set it so the match ends as soon as a team has won enough rounds, for example 5 for 5CP. Combine it with mp_timelimit so matches do not drag on.

The game's own description: Max score one team can reach before server changes maps

Run it on your server

On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to tf/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a TF2 server first.
