What it does
Tournament mode adds a ready-up phase, team names, class limits and the competitive match flow used by leagues. The game does not start until both teams press ready (F4 by default). League configs from ETF2L, RGL and others turn it on.
Good to know
- Run
mp_tournament_restartafter enabling it so the match starts fresh. - Class limits from the
tf_tournament_classlimit_*settings only apply in tournament mode.
Run it on your server
On a SLASHPLAY server, type it in the Console tab of the server page; the reply shows right under it. A value set there lasts until the server restarts. To keep it, add the line to tf/cfg/server.cfg. New to this? Start a TF2 server first.
