How to increase resource spawns in Rust
Type spawn.max_density 1.5 in the server console to raise the upper spawn density for resources, animals and loot by half. Default is 1.
spawn.max_density
Sets the upper population density scalar for resources, animals and loot spawns.
spawn.max_density <scalar> Examples
spawn.max_density 1.5 More nodes and loot when the server is busy.
Arguments
scalarRequired- Density multiplier at high player counts. 1 = default.
What it does
Spawn density scales between spawn.min_density and this value depending on how many players are online. Raising both makes the map feel fuller; lowering them makes resources scarcer. Changes fill in over the next population ticks.
The game's own description: Maximum population density scalar; controls the upper bound for how densely spawnable items fill their designated spawn areas at high player counts

Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
