How to change server tickrate in Rust
Add +server.tickrate 30 to the server's launch options to run 30 simulation ticks per second. Default is 10.
server.tickrate
Sets how many simulation ticks per second the server runs.
server.tickrate <ticks> Examples
+server.tickrate 10 Default tick rate on the launch line.
Arguments
ticksRequired- Ticks per second.
What it does
Higher tick rates make the server react more often at the cost of CPU. The default in this build is 10; most servers leave it there. Changes are best made on the launch line.
The game's own description: Number of server simulation ticks per second; higher values improve responsiveness but increase CPU usage
Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
