How to reload the server config in Rust
Type server.readcfg in the server console to reload serverauto.cfg and server.cfg and apply their values without a restart.
server.readcfg
Reloads serverauto.cfg and server.cfg from the cfg folder and applies their values.
server.readcfg Examples
server.readcfg Apply edits made to server.cfg.
What it does
Useful after editing server.cfg by hand while the server is running: it re-reads serverauto.cfg and then server.cfg and applies every setting in them, without a restart. Settings that only take effect at startup, such as ports or world size, still need a restart.
The game's own description: Reads and executes serverauto.cfg then server.cfg from the server's cfg folder, applying all saved convar values
Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
