Toggles PvE mode, in which players cannot damage other players.
server.pve <True|False> Examples
server.pve True Turn on PvE mode.
+server.pve true Start the server in PvE mode.
Values
| Value | What it does |
|---|---|
| True | PvE, players cannot hurt each other |
| FalseDefault | Normal PvP |
Arguments
stateRequired- True for PvE, False for normal PvP.
What it does
With PvE on, player versus player damage is blocked, while NPCs, animals and the environment can still kill players. Many owners pair it with the pve server tag so the browser shows it correctly. Raiding rules and decay still need their own settings.
The game's own description: Enables PvE mode , players cannot damage other players; they can still be killed by NPCs and the environment
Good to know
- Set it before players join and persist it with
server.writecfg.
Run it on your server
Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
