How to delete everything a player built in Rust

Type entity.deleteby 76561198000000000 in the server console to destroy every entity that Steam ID placed. Add more IDs to clear several players.

entity.deleteby

Destroys every entity placed by one or more players, given by Steam64 ID.

entity.deleteby <steamid> [steamid...]

Remove everything a banned player built.

Arguments

steamidRequired
Steam64 ID of the owner. Separate several with spaces.

What it does

Removes all buildings, deployables and other entities owned by the listed Steam IDs. Mainly used to wipe a banned cheater's bases. It cannot be undone, so run server.save or server.backup first.

The game's own description: Destroy all entities created by provided users (separate users by space)

Good to know

  • Irreversible. Check with entity.countby first if you are unsure.

Run it on your server

Type it in the server console or send it over RCON; admins can also use the F1 console in game. To keep a setting, run server.writecfg after changing it, or put it on the launch line as +name value.
