How to set the respawn penalty window in Palworld

Set RespawnPenaltyDurationThreshold=120.000000 in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server: a player who dies within 120 seconds of respawning gets a longer cooldown.

RespawnPenaltyDurationThreshold

Sets how long in seconds a player must survive after respawning to avoid a longer respawn cooldown on the next death.

RespawnPenaltyDurationThreshold=<seconds>

Examples

RespawnPenaltyDurationThreshold=120.000000

Players who die within two minutes wait longer.

Arguments

secondsRequired
Survival time threshold in seconds.

What it does

If a player dies again before surviving this long, the next respawn cooldown is multiplied by RespawnPenaltyTimeScale. Useful to discourage respawn rushing in PvP.

The game's own description: Survival-time threshold (seconds) for applying the respawn cooldown multiplier set by RespawnPenaltyTimeScale on a subsequent death.
