How to set a randomizer seed in Palworld

Set RandomizerSeed="slashplay2026" in PalWorldSettings.ini and restart the server. The same seed gives the same random Pal spawn layout.

RandomizerSeed

Sets the seed used by the Pal spawn randomizer, so the same seed gives the same layout.

RandomizerSeed="<seed>"

Fixed seed for repeatable spawns.

Arguments

seedRequired
Any text, in double quotes.

What it does

Only used when RandomizerType is not None. Share a seed to get the same randomized spawns on another server.

The game's own description: Seed value used when Pal spawn randomization mode is enabled.

Good to know

  • Edit PalWorldSettings.ini while the server is stopped; changes apply after a restart.
